 28 May 2009 Dawn Jones - Equine body worker available at BW

Dawn Jones will be at the Tri-Nations Endurance Event from Thursday 4 June to Sunday 7 June.  She is a qualified Equine Body Worker and Animal Physical Rehab Practitioner.  She has worked in the field of animal physical rehabilitation for 20 years, both in South Africa and the United Kingdom.  Dawn has worked together with top animal therapists at 3-Day Events, e.g. Blenheim in the UK.  She currently treats horses and dogs in the Southern Suburbs, Western Cape and runs a small animal rehab clinic at Blue Cross Veterinary Hospital in Newlands, Western Cape.  She works mostly with her hands, utilising massage, soft tissue techniques and passive stretching as well as laser therapy, bemer therapy, electrical muscle stimulation and moxibustion.  If you would like to book a session for your horse prior to or after the event, please contact Dawn on 0823449370, or speak to her at the event.  She works on horses from all disciplines, but has a particular passion for and interest in endurance horses, where optimal function of the musculoskeletal system is essential.

7 April 2009 GROOMING @ SAIFEIC

NO grooming vehicles or any vehicles will be allowed on the course. We are concerned that it will be too dusty and the road is quite narrow in places.

There will definitely be sufficient water on the course and we will identify specific lookout/viewing points for spectators that will be easily accessible.
